Hello ~ I'm Nathan. Born and raised in the small southern Indiana town of Seymour, I enlisted in the US Navy and was able to visit such places as San Diego, California, Florence, Italy, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, St Croix, US Virgin Islands, Hong Kong among many others.

I learned to appreciate the intricate beauty of the world and enjoyed taking photos. I adored the beauty of the natural environment, both big and small. Taking photographs was just one way to create lasting memories.

One of the important elements I learned was to observe the behavior of animals such as birds and insects. Observe flight patterns, how long insects spend nectaring and from

be prepared to capture the image in a split second. I learned not to be intrusive to the animal. Show the bird, butterfly, damselfly respect.
